2017 | Week 40

**Just a note that the bottom left photo on the right side of this spread contains adult content that I forgot about, or I would have blurred the photo before posting it here**

Happy New Year! I hope you all had wonderful holidays. Ours were quiet and so so good. I'm currently finishing up the last bits of my December Daily album, which I've somehow managed to keep mostly a secret, and let me just say, it's FREAKING AWESOME. I'm just waiting on one photo and I need to journal the last week or so. I cannot wait to share it with all of you.

But for now, I'm going to share a bunch of Project Life spreads, and a little bit about my One Little Word for 2018. You can learn more about One Little Word HERE.

Here's the left side of Week 40. This was the week of Thanksgiving {in case you weren't aware, I'm Canadian}. This week also has possibly THE MOST photos of Gracie in one spread. Which oddly enough, isn't that bad. She usually pops up at least twice in a spread, which I imagine isn't much different than anyone who has kids.

For this week, I added little rubber circles to each of my photos. They're all from past story kits, and I love that it just brings the week together in a small way.

That bottom left photo has some adult content, so I wouldn't suggest you look too closely. It's a game called "Bears vs. Babies" and it's one of those unusual games that Jon and I enjoy.

I made a rainbow fruit tray for dinner, and brought an adult card game for us to play. It was fun, though I'm sure my family judges me - okay I know my family judges me - for having inappropriate games. We don't have kids, so I reserve the right to own games that others cringe at because they're so inappropriate.

The bottom right photo is a flip up with another photo and some journaling I don't want to share here. It covers Sunday when I had to work a double shift at work because we were short staffed due to the holiday weekend.

Thank you so much for coming by to see this spread. I have a TON of amazing things that I want to share here this year. I'm hoping to get around to photographing the rest of my 2017 pages and my December Daily album. I don't have any big plans for 2018 Project Life, other than probably keeping up with weekly, but perhaps including more words, hopefully more adventures, and as always, trying to take better photos.
