Today I'm sharing Week 18 where I used digital cards from the Happy Birthday collection from my friend Kristine over at The Crafty Pocket. We celebrated my Grandma's birthday this week, so these cards were perfect to tie the everyday bits together with celebrating her. The colours are so bright that they were perfect for the early days of warmer weather. In addition to her cards I used super old rubber sentiments from Studio Calico and chipboard shapes from old Ali Edwards kits.
On the left side, I fussy cut the balloons from one of the journal cards and stuck them across the card and the photo. I used my tiny attacher to hold the rubber words on the photos.
Puns are literally one of my favourite things and of course I had to cut the little "let them eat cake" piece from a journal card and stick it over the cupcakes photo. More rubber sentiments attached with my tiny attacher. I also wrote around the chipboard circle, and I love how it came out. I used one of my favourite Kellie Stamps (here) and it's matching alpha (outline) (solid) to stamp on the pink ombré card.
Thanks so much for coming to see this spread. Trying to catch up on the last few weeks. They have all their photos, just trying to choose journal cards and get the details written in.
