Is now a bad time to tell you that I haven't even started on documenting 2017? I also don't have an album, but last year I stocked up on pocket pages because they were on sale, and so I have enough of those, and I think I have a plan which also includes some repeated elements each week/month in my album. I'm also trying to use more of my stash, I'm not numbering the title cards like I did this year, but the blog posts will be titled with the week number. Yeah I'm probably going to get confused, but we'll see how this goes.
Above is the full spread of week 50. I found a bunch of old Studio Calico cards I've been hoarding for all of last year, and possibly the year before, and finally decided to just use them.
The left side; of course a backyard photo. I don't know why I like taking them so much, but they're being repeated each week this year and I want to do another "year in review" page at the end of the year. I finally got the tree up, and it's hard to tell, but the truck has a huge dent on the back corner where Jon was in an accident (no one was hurt) I wrote about it in December Daily too.
The right side; my niece turned 6 (they grow up so fast), #gracietheungraceful (check it on Instagram) was playing under the bathroom door. I made my moms biscuit recipe at home for the first time and they came out perfectly. And my nephew being weird and trying to cuddle/hug the dogs butt. Little stories that mean so much on their own, but so much more as a whole.
