Today I'm sharing Week 45. Trying to get through the rest of 2016 and eventually get started on 2017. I haven't even bought an album for this year yet but I'm likely keeping everything the same. Design A black 12x12 album. But I don't think I'm going to number the weeks in my albums anymore. Just stamp the week start and end date, possibly on a photo or on a 4x6 card.
The left side is super simple. I'm still looking for a white ink that stamps nicely on dark paper. The one I used here is by Colorbox and it needs to be replaced, but it never really stamped crisp on dark paper/photos. I recently bought this ink pad bundle from Ali Edwards but haven't had a chance to try out her white ink. I've also heard good things about white StazOn, but haven't been able to find it. The banners in this spread are from a past story kit.
The right side was mostly about my birthday. I turned 25 and spent it with my family. Mom made dinner and we played boardgames (Carcassonne is the bottom left picture) and Cards Against Humanity. My sister bought me some books by Rachel Del (a fellow scrapbooker). You can find her books on Amazon.
Thanks for coming by to see this spread. When I'm trying to catch up on 9 weeks at once, I often keep things super simple. Start with the photos, go through and add cards to every page, add some embellishments and then go back and write the stories.
