Today I'm sharing Week 39. All the little moments in this week are the reason that I keep doing this. Even when our lives feel extremely mundane and repetitive. Something Ali Edwards always says is "the overall story might be the same, but the details are different". Brandi Kincaid (extraordinary illustrator, and all around creative) has also talked about "every story matters". Between the two of them, I've been encouraged to tell stories I never thought I would. The every day little details that might not be a big deal now, but might be incredibly different in 6 months, or 1 year or 5 years. They're still things I'll want to remember.
Here's the left side. Little moments. The changing colours of the yard, little pieces of my creative processes, a hair appointment. Little things. Little Details. Little moments.
The right side, the decrease in sunshine, the changing colours of one of my favourite plants. My nephews silly face, some happy mail, and another creative project. The little things of my life right now. in 5 years things will look a lot different. We hope to have kids in that time, and it'll be more about them and less about my nephew, or my creative projects, or the weather. It'll be about the kids, and I want to see the change from what's important now to what's important then.
Thanks for coming by to see this spread. Nothing fancy, but an important piece of the larger story. Have a great day.
