#31MinutesFor31Days | Week 1

31MinutesFor31Days_2.jpg

A little late with this post, but I wanted to share the first 7 spreads in my Travelers Notebook for this first week of October. This first week has been a whirlwind, but I still managed to carve out around 31 minutes every day to work on a spread in this notebook.

Originally it was going to be only about October, but I've taken it upon myself to just throw in all of my fall photos. Some photos are in different spreads but were taken the same day, but I'm going with the flow. The photos are in chronological order, even the ones from the same day, and that's a flow I can work with. This album will have a TON of flair badges in it, and I imagine it's going to be much bulkier than I thought (none of the flair have been stuck down because they make it too hard to write). At the bottom of this post I'll share where all the products are from.

I made my own notebooks for this project (there will be two of them) and I chose to use black pages because I love the look of white writing on black and so far this album has not disappointed. Here I used some Kellie Stamps to stamp a quote to start my album, and added a leaf to the top.

Day 1: Two #fromwhereistand photos from September, a stamped pattern on the left. It's a little busy, but I love how it looks anyways.

Day 2: To make up for the busyness of yesterday I oversimplified this page, but I love how it came together. All of my photos are 3x3 with a white border.

Day 3: I found an old Dear Lizzy paper and hand cut all of the little jars out and included one here with some leaves a friend sent me in the mail. When including digital stamps in a project like this, I feel it's easiest to just print it out (I did 9 on an 8.5 x 11 paper) and then cut it into strips and just tuck it behind a photo.

Day 4: A photo cut in half and stuck across two pages. Finally using some washitape from my stash. Not a perfect match to the "autumn" card on the left, but as close as my supplies could get and I love the simplicity of it. I journaled around the photo.

Day 5: Rainy, windy, leaves everywhere. Pattern paper from my stash to ground the photos on the right, some white paint splatters and short journaling.

Day 6: Big title with bronze ink, small cluster on the left. No journaling about being awake to watch the sunrise before going to work much earlier than usual.

Day 7: A little busier. Photo, phrase stickers, leaf, and a list of things I love about autumn. The same washitape I used a few pages back. Another leaf, more woodgrain paper.

Have a wonderful weekend. This weekend is Thanksgiving in Canada, and my brother is getting married tomorrow, so I'll be on busy girl this weekend. I hope that my fellow Canadians have a wonderful long weekend, and that everyone enjoys whatever they have planned.
